From Nagoya, it's a single train.
Take the JR Hida limited express from Nagoya Station to Gero Station — about 90 minutes through some of Japan's most beautiful river valleys.
From Gero Station, R_degree is a short walk along the main street of the hot spring town. We're easy to find — look for the °R sign.
A 1,000-year-old hot spring town.
Gero is one of Japan's three most celebrated hot springs, with a history going back more than a millennium. The town sits in the mountains of Gifu — quiet, walkable, full of small inns and steam rising from the river. We can't think of a more fitting place to introduce contemporary Mino-yaki.
